Finding value across the organisation
Cost optimisation is rarely about one supplier or one expense line.
Assembled no earlier than late 2023 · Published through SANGONET
The combined savings summary covers 2019 to 2020. The CANSA tables cover July to November 2023. Statements about the firm — its age, its mandates, its client list — describe KuTh as it was at the time of writing.
This article is republished as it was written
It was published through SANGONET and is reproduced here without revision, including the percentages and the client quotations it carried.
The results it reports are period results: one summary covers 2019 to 2020, and the CANSA tables cover July to November 2023. They are not current rates, and they are not the figures published in the mandate library, which documents different engagements under different commercial models.
Who we are
A group of area specialists, working at risk
KuTh Consultants is a B-BBEE Level 1 business management consultancy. We are a group of area specialists and experts. KuTh Consultants has been trading for the past 7 years; as a business we still do extensive work within the NPO sector wherein we have found resounding success.
We have a 100% track record in terms of saving money and obtaining refunds in every arena that we have dealt with, and have also had success with complicated matters and contractual matters — where an NPO is being held hostage by a contract that cannot be broken in a high court, or matters that relate to malfeasance and refunds that should have been provided.
The provision of service under our contingency model (at risk) is extended to our NPOs and is always highly coveted.

In their words
Testimonial quotes from some of our previous clients
We at CANSA are impressed with level of service received from KuTh Consultants and can gladly endorse their value proposition.
We signed up with KuTh Consultants on a 3-month contract. It was our expectation that they would be able to add value in optimising our organisation, but after the first month it became apparent this would be a significant exercise. By the end of the second month, they had already achieved a 7-digit saving, solved a legacy data transfer issue related to our new 3D system, used their connections to assist with a three-year dispute with a supplier that had reached a very unpleasant impasse.
It is my pleasure to recommend to you KuTh Consultants. KuTh promised that they would review our costs and that they expect to help us make considerable saving. They also indicated they would help us with improving the effectiveness of our systems and processes.
I can report that they did in fact do as they promised. Results were quickly achieved, and we were impressed by the level of commitment to the work that they showed. Consistent with every update, more savings were presented. Their work is professional and thorough, and as a team they have an impressive skill set.
We were very grateful when we were introduced to the services of KuTh Consulting as this resulted in substantial cost savings. They assisted us by reviewing our flight, insurance, printing and Telkom costs, and also with a revision our IT architecture and improving our cyber security after an incident occurred. This resulted in us being able to reduce our monthly expenses, and improve the processes, for each of these services.
We at Topsy Foundation are impressed with level of service received from KuTh Consultants and can recommend their services to you. We signed up with KuTh Consultants with a 6-month contract where they have achieved a saving on the applicable mandated areas. On this basis we may even re-engage in their next quarter for further savings.
We consider our relationship with KuTh Consultants to be extremely beneficial. They are able to operate seamlessly within the company and interact at all levels without any problems. Their efficiency and professionalism is refreshing and has made a wonderful difference within our organization and will be most valuable to your company.

A note on reading these figures alongside the mandate library
Several of the areas above — banking, procurement, printers, insurance, IP telephony, mobiles — are documented as full engagements in the mandate library, with their own method, evidence and limitations.
The percentages on this page are not those engagements' results. They come from a different period and a different population, and the two should not be compared or added together.
